Terms and Conditions for Participating in ILO–E4Impact Youth Leadership Lab
The following terms and conditions apply to participation in the Innovation Challenge. By submitting this application, your organisation confirms that:

The proposed solution is submitted by an organisation that is registered or formally recognised in Kenya, has been in existence for at least two (2) calendar years by the time of the call, and has operational presence in Turkana and/or Garissa counties.

The proposed solution responds to a clear need in one of the three thematic tracks described in the Applicant Guidelines, targeting refugees and/or host communities.
- 3
The proposed project promotes innovation, inclusion, and decent work opportunities for young people.
- 4
The proposed solution has an endorsement, referral or letter of support from a county government, UNHCR or another recognised agency, where available.
- 5
The organisation agrees to participate fully in the Innovation Challenge process, including pitching, the Bootcamp and post-selection Youth Leadership Lab activities, for not less than 10 months from September 2026.

Organisations that submit multiple applications will be disqualified.
- 7
All information provided must be truthful and accurate. False or misleading information will lead to rejection or disqualification.

The organisation agrees that E4Impact, ILO and the selection panel may review the application and supporting documents for evaluation, due diligence, grant award and post-selection technical support.

The Innovation Challenge management team may reject or disqualify an application for non-compliance, late submission, ineligibility, inability to fulfil requirements, misconduct or other serious concerns.

The Innovation Challenge management team may request clarifications, adjust timelines or application requirements, or reject applications that do not meet the requirements.

Grant agreements will follow ILO standard terms and conditions, including relevant requirements for grant management, milestones, reporting, safeguarding, labour rights, feedback and complaints, and record keeping.
